Hip Hop in its Essence and Real. I figured I’m a girl, and common’s record is a classic, why not use something that represents something I enjoy to promote.
2.What was one of your favorite songs growing up?
In all reality I didn’t fall in love with hip hop until I was in 10th grade.. It was the people I ended up being surrounded by that influenced me to actually listen to hip hop, Nas was my first introduction.. If I said Jewel was what I grew up listening to would that be awkward? lol
3.What got you into blogging?
I wanted to hear about music (hip hop) from a girl’s perspective, more conscious, no gossip or smart aleck hatred toward the music.. and in NC there are really no outlets to stay connected to raw hip hop so blogging has kept me in the loop.

This is what I'm excited about for Nov 4 (anyone who thinks Obama is the new jesus might as well jump off a building now) . I have a feeling this is gonna be a monster. Tracy Morgan is the funniest dude EVER!
he waws only on the cipha/rosenberg show for like 5 minutes and it was TOO FUNNY!! and if you've ever seen him on jimmy kimmel he goes in! dude seems to always be in character and its hilarious. If your haven't, go look for the Whoo Kid tape with Tracy on it from a few years and enjoy the tomfoolery.

Hollywood Divorce
Its not really a divorce, the title just fit. Yesterday I went on an excursion with the homegirl and M-Dot. I went to Union, Stussy, undftd, Bape LA, Flight Club LA, THLA, Kid Robot, and more... It was a great day filled with sneaker, fashion and hiphop talk. Nothin else is in the world really. My homegirl was there to enjoy, as she isnt heavy into this ish like me and Mdot. I was looking for certain things at each store and only one had what I wanted (see those spiffy The Hundreds hats!!). before the last shop as you can see Meks decided to be a good samaritan and help this lady. It was a "awww" moment, i guess there are good people in the world lol.
